Champoeg
Pre-Rally
June 1-2,2008 |
| For the second time the Club decided to meet at the
Champoeg State Park in Oregon to form up and caravan into the Albany
FMCA rally. While it was a but wetter this year than our last
outing at Champoeg no less Good Times were had. Lee and Judy Keeler
coordinated with the Park to reserve the RV Group area for the 1st and
2nd of June. Many folks arrived on the 1st while others showed up
on the 2nd. Late trip to Champoeg saw 9 coaches -- this time we
had 15. Things were a bit tight but with a little creative wiring
everyone that wanted it had power.
Lee and Judy also provided the main coarse for the Potluck.
Three type of BBQ meats -- and they were all fantastic. Even the over
cooked selection (Lee's words not mine) which your webmaster tried to
eat all of to protect the rest of the members from bad things.
So a word to the wise --- For a Good Time join us at Champoeg next
